Wander into your weekend with a relaxed evening on the Sculpture Terrace, enjoy a drink and take in our newest exhibitions.
Be among the first to see our newest exhibition, Plateau by Marley Dawson, featuring his new work Big Wheel (at 40), and take the opportunity to meet and talk with the artist about his work.
The Artspace Gallery will be turned into a hall of wonder populated with Dawson’s sculptural works that look like familiar utilitarian objects—such as furniture, motor vehicles parts, baseball bats, or miniature rockets — but are instead imaginary art constructs.
In Thingamabobs and Whatchamacallits, you can take a closer look at some of the old odds and ends that once were useful tools. We’ve gathered gizmos, gadgets, contraptions and inventions – all of which were designed to help in some way. Take a stroll down memory lane and maybe you’ll learn something new along the way.
The Art Factory is hands-on fun for any age! Whether you are 5 or 95, you can watch incredible drawings emerge before your eyes with the Harmonograph, take a spin on the pedal-powered drawing machine or witness the fascinating workings of the 3D printer.
And in our Hallway Gallery, the small abstract studies of Cadence by Frank Burgers features.
Drinks available at bar prices.
