What joining our team offers

At Wodonga Council we offer meaningful work and take pride in what we do.

We are a values driven organisation that is committed to building healthy and engaged teams who benefit from our flexible work options, health and wellbeing initiatives, and development opportunities, so that we grow as individuals and as an organisation. We recognise the importance of balancing work and life and understand that priorities change with time.

We support our children through maternal health and kindergarten services and we help them get to school safely with our school crossing supervisors. We create public buildings and spaces, and enable private development where we can see and touch the result of our work. We support healthy communities by managing our parklands and trails and deliver cultural programs and events that everyone in our community can enjoy.

To achieve this we employ a team of professionals drawn from fields and disciplines ranging from finance and information management, communications and marketing, events and community development, environmental health and nursing, planning and building, child educators and a range of trades.
