Wodonga Dog Rescue

Dog that was rehomed.

Wodonga Dog Rescue and its volunteers are 'Doin' it for the dogs' and helping to save impounded and abandoned dogs from certain death.

The incorporated association hasĀ a committee and a number of volunteer foster carers.

They have a memorandum of understanding with us to provide animal care and pound cleaning services.

In return, they are given full access to the pound and are able to temporarily house foster dogs in the pens that are not being used.

After temperament testing the dogs, they will purchase the ones they believe they can re-home from the pound (all must be microchipped and desexed prior to leaving).

They work in conjunction with Albury Animal Rescue,
who also re-home cats and kittens as well as dogs from the Albury pound.

All of the puppies and dogs up for adoption through Wodonga Dog Rescue are available online at

Dogs have been purchased from around Australia including Broome, Adelaide and Mornington Peninsula.

If you are unable to assist by caring for or adopting a dog then any financial contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Every little bit helps and Wodonga Dog Rescue Incorporated is registered in Victoria as a charitable institution (A0055493F).

You can donate online or phone Peta McRae on 0407 538 922.
