Fines may apply if you are dumping rubbish illegally on council or crown land.
Our civic services officers patrol known hotspots for illegal dumping, which can also include council-owned street litter bins (these are for street litter and not large amounts of domestic or commercial waste).
We do not conduct an annual hard waste kerbside collection, making any rubbish left on the nature strip that is not placed inside a domestic waste collection bin, illegal dumping.

If you plan to report illegal dumping, follow these important safety instructions:
- Do not approach the vehicle or individuals who are illegally dumping;
- Do not let the illegal dumpers know you are there; and
- Do not touch the illegally dumped material.
