The First Nations Reference Group
The First Nations Reference Group is a new Group established by Wodonga Council, North East Water, Wodonga TAFE and North East Catchment Management Authority (NECMA) to foster collaborative reconciliation in Wodonga.
The first Meeting will take place in late May 2025. Meetings will be held quarterly (four per annum) for one hour per meeting with refreshments to follow. Members are required to attend in person for a minimum of three meetings per annum.

Wodonga’s First Nations Reference Group is seeking members to establish this new Group. Express your interest by filling in the Expression of Interest Form. The form is due by Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Selection process
The selection process will involve a panel consisting of one representative from each partner organisation (Wodonga Council, North East Water, Wodonga TAFE, NECMA). They will assess the Expression of Interest applications based on the following selection criteria.

Note: If more than 10 members apply, consideration will be given to the number of representatives from First Nation organisations. For example, if two individuals apply from the same First Nation organisation, only one may be selected.
If successful, members will be required to sign a Letter of Agreement which will stipulate payment (if applicable), meeting dates, and code of conduct requirements.
