Nationals Senator for Victoria, Bridget McKenzie was in Wodonga today to officially congratulate Wodonga Council on it's successful application.

"Projects like the CBD Toursim Cycling Links will see the construction of an 8 kilometre sealed track, along with car park and rest areas to increase Wodonga and the North East region's attraction as an outdoor tourism destination."

As Minister for Sport it's great to see a cycling project getting this assistance."

"The sport is extremely popular in the Wodonga region and with this infrastructure it will continue to grow."

Mayor Cr Anna Speedie said the project will be well recieved in the local community and is well targeted for the sport of cycling to flourish in the region.
