Youth Week: Youth Resilience Podcast Series Beyond YOLO Launches

9 Apr, 2019

Part of 2019 Youth Week events, Murray Arts will launch their podcast series Beyond YOLO at Retro Lane Cafe and Youth Space in Albury on Wednesday, April 10.

Beyond YOLO unearths young people’s real-life stories of strength and resilience – unravelling here and now in the Border North-East region.

The podcast follows distinctive interpretations of what it means to live as a young person and unique challenges that arise.

Three of the four Beyond YOLO episodes launched digitally last year – the fourth and final episode of the series will be broadcast live for the first time at the launch.

This physical launch will celebrate everyone who's been involved in the making of the podcast and the wonderful, talented and resilient youth in our region.

When: Wednesday, April 10

Time: 4pm to 6pm

Where: Retro Lane Cafe and Youth Space, QEII Square, Albury

RSVP: info@murrayarts.org.au

Cost: Free

Local writers, producers and storytellers Aimee Chan, Kate Rotherham, Rachel McNamara, Alison Plasto and Tony Grace have worked with local young people to uncover stories of youth resilience and create this locally produced podcast series.

Beyond YOLO can be listened to on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, YouTube and/or SoundCloud.
