Wodonga Council proposes to sell Lot 1 and Lot 2 at Roche Drive, Barnawartha, which is part of the Logic industrial estate.
Wodonga City Council (Council) gives notice under Section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) that it intends to sell the land described below (Proposal).
The land which is subject of the Proposal is the land shown as:
- ‘Lot 1’ on the plans below, being the land contained in certificate of title volume 11607 folio 541 located at Roche Drive, Barnawartha North VIC 3691; and,
- ‘Lot 2’ on the plans below, being the land contained in certificate of title volume 11607 folio 542 located at Roche Drive, Barnawartha North VIC 3691,
together the ‘Land’.
The Proposal is that Land be sold by private treaty to Blanalko Pty Ltd (Purchaser), on the following terms,
- A purchase price of $5,065,475 plus GST
- Payment of a deposit equal to 10% of the price
- The sale will be conditional on the Purchaser undertaking its environmental due diligence investigations within 60 days after the day of sale
- Settlement will be due on 23 February 2023, or earlier if agreed by the parties
- As a condition of sale, the Purchaser must enter into an agreement pursuant to Section 173 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 to provide that the Land must only be used for railway, freight and/or logistics purposes for a period of at least 20 years after settlement of the contract of sale.
A person may make a submission on the Proposal. Any person proposing to make a submission under section 114 of the Act must do so by January 10, 2021.
All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 114 of the Act. In line with our Community Engagement Policy, any person may make a submission on this matter.

Written submissions must be clearly marked as "Proposed Sale – Lot 1 & 2 Roche Drive".
