Wodonga Council is committed to providing high quality play spaces in our city. Before any major changes are made to these play spaces, we want your feedback on how the playgrounds are used.

A plan for the Daintree Estate playground on Daintree Way (next to the medical centre) is now out for your feedback.

The playground has a nature-based focus with natural elements for climbing and imaginative play as well as equipment in a natural style.

The equipment includes swings, a slide, a whirlin’ robin, climbing equipment and a see-saw suitable for a range of ages.

The council would like your feedback on the draft plan.

August, 2019

Earlier this year we asked for feedback on the plans for the Daintree Estate playground.

We've listened to your feedback, and modified the design - pictures above - to include play elements for younger children.

The playground has a nature-based focus with natural elements for climbing and imaginative play as well as equipment in a natural style. The equipment included swings, a slide, a whirlin’ robin, climbing equipment and a see-saw suitable for a range of ages.

Additional shade options are being considered for installation once the playground is completed.

Works are due to begin when the weather begins to improve. Be sure to look out for signage at the site which will signal works are about to begin.
