Wodonga Council is planning to install fencing around the perimeter of the BMX Track at Silva Drive.
The council and Border BMX are hosting a drop-in session and barbecue to view the plans.
The facility will still be available to the community and the fence will help improve safety for everyone and security around the track.
It will allow the club and the council to close the track during times of excessive rain and/or track damage, or when the BMX will be conducting routine maintenance or maintenance prior to an event.
