Wodonga Planning Scheme Amendment C136
This amendment has been prepared by the Wodonga City Council, which is the planning authority for this amendment.
The amendment has been made at the request of Victory Lutheran College – 28 Drage Road West Wodonga and applies to that land.
The amendment rezones Victory Lutheran College, 28 Drage Road, Wodonga from Farming Zone (FZ) to General Residential Zone – Schedule 1 (GRZ1).
The amendment is required to reflect the current and historical use and development of the land as a school which is located in a developing mixed use and residential area. The school has existed at the land since 1991 (30 years) and has grown to provide P-12 education for the Wodonga community.
Any person who may be affected by the amendment may make a submission to the planning authority about the amendment.
Submissions must be made in writing giving the submitter’s name and contact address, clearly stating the grounds on which the amendment is supported or opposed and indicating what changes (if any) the submitter wishes to make. Name and contact details of submitters are required for council to consider submissions and to notify such persons of the opportunity to attend council meetings and any public hearing held to consider submissions.
The closing date for submissions is the 8th October 2021.

The planning authority must make a copy of every submission available at its office and/or on its website for any person to inspect free of charge for two months after the amendment comes into operation or lapses.
