Printmakers Susan Morris, Caryn Giblin and Paula Watson will work collaboratively and independently to produce drawings and prints that reflect different printmaking techniques and themes during their residency in the Hyphen Creative Studio.
The artwork produced will be exhibited in their upcoming 2025 group exhibition in Hallway Gallery.
Susan’s prints combine paper, textiles and explore the use of prints in bookmaking.
Caryn uses the drypoint method to create prints about the relationship between native and non-native plants and the role that native bees play in pollination.
Paula’s work will use her recent drawings to produce collagraphs which explore the combination of screen prints and drawing. Using native flora as her subject matter, Paula is concerned with the loss of habitat for native birds, butterflies and small animals.
