Taking over ownership in mid-June 2025 while six months pregnant, Miranda found herself nurturing two new beginnings, one at home and one in Wodonga’s CBD.
Renowned for its soft, natural, cottage style arrangements, Thistle & Fern remains one of Albury-Wodonga’s most loved florists.
“At Thistle & Fern, every arrangement is made with intention, creativity and a genuine love for what we do,” shared Miranda.
“We’re here to make flowers feel meaningful, personal and connected to the community we adore.”
Mindful and sustainable in its approach, each bouquet is carefully created to feel personal and heartfelt, using minimal chemicals and locally sourced flowers.
Miranda says she is proud of being able to help other small businesses thrive in our region by supporting local growers.

“I love working with such a hard-working group of ladies to create something beautiful every single day. It’s so rewarding being part of life’s biggest moments from celebration to the days when someone needs a little extra love,” Miranda commented.

“One of the most rewarding parts of owning the business is building heartfelt connections with our loyal customers and watching Thistle & Fern become a meaningful part of people’s homes, traditions and memories,” she said.

“Next year we are looking at more events but delivering local flowers for special occasions is our bread and butter and we love it!” commented Miranda.

Open hours are adjusted seasonally, with the Wodonga store currently open from Wednesday to Saturday, offering same day deliveries Tuesday to Friday.
