Call for Expressions of Interest for 2021 festival

AlburyCity and Wodonga Council are calling for expressions of interest from artists and cultural organisations for Upstream – Festival of Art + Culture 2021.

In its first year, the festival attracted more than 16,000 people who took part in a range of art and cultural performances, programming and activities across the two cities and over four days.

In its second year, the festival will build on being an event of regional significance, a collaboration and connection of art and culture with the finest local produce and magnificent brews and wines.

Upstream - Festival of Art + Culture will reflect the high calibre of our creative community through a carefully curated program of events, workshops and cultural experiences for all. The festival will offer a stage for professional creative artists and organisations to demonstrate the very best of their artistic ability.

Born under the banner of Two Cities One Community, Upstream – Festival of Art + Culture embodies the theme of partnership which makes Albury-Wodonga unique. Upstream is the product of both councils working together to host a significant event that spans both cities.

The 2021 festival will be held across Albury-Wodonga on the March Victorian long weekend from March 5 to 9.
