The council has many programs dedicated to maintaining and improving assets and infrastructure within the municipality.

These assets include roads and bridges, buildings and structures, recreation reserves, drains, parks and gardens and the waste transfer station.

The council has an adopted asset management strategy which assists in the effective capital infrastructure investment decisions for the community.

You can read that plan under the council's corporate documents page.

Infrastructure Design Manual

The Infrastructure Design Manual (IDM) was designed to clearly document and standardise our requirements for the design and development of municipal infrastructure.

It aims to also expedite engineering approvals and ensure that minimum design criteria are met in regard to the design and construction of municipal infrastructure regardless of whether it is constructed by us or a developer.

You can download the document below.

Erosion and sediment control guidelines

The Erosion and Sediment Control Guidelines For Building Sites (Wodonga, Albury and Hume) provide a practical guide to 'best practice' techniques for the minimisation of stormwater pollution from building sites.

The guidelines have been produced to assist persons involved in the building industry to comply with their statutory environmental responsibilities.
