A show of hands for annual Volunteer Fair

Want to find the best volunteers for your organisation? Or maybe you want to know how other organisations work with their volunteers?

Wodonga Council is calling for expressions of interest for stallholders for the annual Wodonga Volunteer Fair.

The Volunteer Fair will showcase a wide variety of organisations that have volunteers and also offer opprtunities for people to volunteer.

Albury-Wodonga Regional FoodShare's Peter Matthews said he encouraged other organisations who work with volunteers to attend the fair at Woodland Grove on Saturday, May 26.

"We rely heavily on volunteers and we need to be recruiting volunteers all the time," he said.

"It's important to us and not only for potential volunteers.

"It enables us to talk to other organisations, which are also out there seeking volunteers. The networking is very important."

To register your interest in hosting a stall, phone the Volunteer Co-ordinator Tarryn on (02) 6022 9335 by Thursday, March 15.
