City of Wodonga

Anyone for tennis? Game on!

Game, set, match!

Can you serve like Federer? Or return a backhand like Stosur?

Wodonga children will be celebrating the start of the Australian Open at Wodonga Library as they take part in the Wii Tennis Open today.

Children, some who will be teaming up with their friends, will be trying to emulate the stars of Melbourne Park in our Wii tennis showdown.

It doesn't matter if you are a clay-court specialist or if you prefer grass, Wii Tennis is for everyone.

Channeling their favourite players, children will play Wii Tennis from 10.30am to 12.30pm and be aiming to take out the championship.

Wii Tennis is just one of many school holiday programs the Wodonga library is offering to parents and children in January.

Other programs include Summer Reading Club, Battle of the Board Games, Bluearth Kids sessions and Battletop Arena with Bricks4Kids.

This free event is for children aged 6 years plus.
