SOQ Collective finds the beauty in chaos

SOQ collective

In its world premiere season, the Murray Conservatorium’s SOQ Collective presents Out of Chaos comes Beauty at The Cube Wodonga.

Performed by nine regional Australian artists inspired by contemporary Australian culture, places and relationships, the show combines original song, dance and vivid visual art projections

Celebrate relationships of people to land and each other, through dance that physicalises the themes which the songs interrogate, and visual art that challenges, disrupts and celebrates the emergence of beauty as a cyclical and seasonal response to chaos.

Out of Chaos comes Beauty’s compelling narrative provokes and comments on the fragility of life, its humour and intrinsic beauty. The performance and touring team comprises a vocalist, saxophonist, dancer, visual artist, string quartet and a technical director and stage manager.

It also features the directive and narrative work of Peter Adams, who has devised and staged productions for the likes of David Attenborough, Brian Cox, Michael Palin and Louis Theroux. Out of Chaos comes Beauty; a place where stories are told and dreams find home.
