PROJECT
COMPLETE

Through the implementation of projects outlined in council's Kelly Park Master Plan, the existing cricket training nets at Kelly Park, Dalgleish St, Wodonga are being replaced.

The project will see the development of a four-lane cricket and multiuse training facility providing an improved and expanded training area to support the continued growth of Belvoir Cricket Club and provide a public access net for the Wodonga community.

The facility is being funded by council, the Victorian Government through the Community Sports Infrastructure Fund (Cricket Facilities) , Cricket Albury Wodonga and the Belvoir Cricket Club. 

The total project cost is $120,000 including in-kind support.

Timeline
  • Works update
    November 20

    The project is nearing completion with the installation of the cricket nets.

    We are hoping to have the project completed before Christmas.

    October 3, 2019

    The concrete slab was poured today. 

    Now you can see the form of the building take shape, with the frame and fittings commencing within the next week.

  • Works update
    September 30, 2019

    Posts for the fencing were installed today. Works are progressing well and are on track for a late-year delivery

  • Demolition started
    September 16, 2019

    Works to the site commenced today with the demolition of the existing playground, to make way for the brand new cricket nets.
