Small steps key for Sustainable Living Festival

15 Nov, 2019

The Sustainable Living Festival will kick off tomorrow with the Sustainable Living Fair with Small Steps Big Impact the key message.

The fair at Gateway Village will have more than 50 exhibits showcasing renewable energy, sustainable lifetstyles, farming, environment, health and wellbeing.

"The Sustainable Living Festival aims to inspire and provide tools for change by showcasing solutions to ecological sustainability," Sustainability Co-ordinator Robyn Nicolas said.

"Come along to the fair and a fun-filled week of events and activities that showcase local eco-businesses and community groups.

"Throughout the week there are interactive workshops, talks, demonstrations, artworks, exhibits, films and live performances to entice all."

The fair will run from 8am to 1pm.

The Gateway Village Farmers' market will also be on with great family fun, entertainment and food available.

The Sustainable Activity Centre will open its doors all week with interactive workshops.

The workshops will range from upcycled fashion to making your household and beauty products.

For those interested in practical actions and saving money, there will be:
