Volunteering at Bonegilla
| |
You don't have to be a historian to join the Bonegilla Migrant Experience heritage park team.
Block 19 is calling for volunteers to join the vibrant team who will be working to help expand exhibitions and experiences within the cultural centre. Volunteers should possess good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
Members of the team will interact with visiting members of the public, many who have been former residents of the migrant centre. They will also assist with the collection of history, general administration and improving experiences for visitors to the centre.
Wodonga Council will offer full training and ongoing support as well as a unique opportunity to learn more about the people who arrived on our shores post World War II and the children that continue to help shape Australia's future.
This is an exciting opportunity not only culturally but educationally to join this team. For more information, phone Wodonga Council on (02) 6022 9300.
