Rate concessions

A rate rebate of $193.40 is granted to eligible pensioners who have full entitlements for the current 2011-2012 rating period.

This rebate increases annually by the CPI and is shown as a government rebate in the financial area of the rate notice.

If you hold a card that grants you full entitlements and have not received a rebate for the property that is your sole place of residence, please download the "Application for concession on municipal rates and charges" form, and bring your card to the council offices with the completed form. Forms are also available at council offices for completion and processing. Once completed the rebate is granted in future years until your circumstances change

Please note that Health Care card holders are eligible to rebates on certain charges but this does not apply to a rebate on council rates.
