Students' artwork to go on display

ARTWORK from the region's secondary students will be on display at Arts Space Wodonga from Friday, August 28 to Thursday, September 17.

The exhibition focuses on students' artwork from years seven, eight and nine.

The theme of the exhibition is ‘RED' and students have been creating two-dimensional and three-dimensional works that explore tones and tints of the colour red.

The ‘RED' theme carries on from the council's ‘RED' National Youth Week (NYW) activities.

Schools participating in the exhibition include:

Huon Middle Years College, Wodonga
Felltimber Middle Years College, Wodonga
The Flying Fruit Fly Circus Middle Years School
Catholic College Wodonga
Victory Lutheran College
Tallangatta Secondary College
Frayne College
Mt Carmel Christian School

The exhibition will officially open this Friday night at 5.30pm, with practicing artist and art educator Linda Fish the guest speaker.

Members of the community are most welcome to attend.
