September's YASS winner

Ashlea Bennett is the recipient of this month's Young Achiever Support Scheme.
The 17-year-old has recently competed at the National School Swimming Championships, for which she is receiving the YASS award.
She is a keen sportswoman and has achieved some amazing results in a variety of different sports.
Ashlea has represented Victoria both at a state and national level, with one of her highlights being at the Beijing swimming trials.
She has recently been selected in the S7 category in the Victorian state swimming team for six years consecutively.
Ashlea has also represented Victoria in the last two Pacific School Games, held every three years.
The YASS is aimed at assisting young people in their pursuits to participate at a state or national level for activities, events or competitions.
Wodonga Mayor Cr Mark Byatt congratulated Ashlea on her efforts in the pool.
“This is a fine effort by Ashlea and she is certainly a young sportswoman that is set to achieve more success in her chosen sport,” he said.
