International speaker to come to Wodonga

INTERNATIONALLY renowned speaker Filomena Sousa will be in Wodonga on May 27 and 28 for two full day workshops on ‘Human error reduction'.
Ms Sousa is a specialist on the science of human errors and has presented seminars in more than 15 countries, working internationally with Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to founding Talsico, a human error reduction consultancy with office in Australia, the United States, Puerto Rico and South Africa, Ms Sousa's career included leadership positions with IBM and Select Learning.
With degrees in genetics and statistics, and post-graduate studies in psychology and business management, Ms Sousa has been the creative force behind a suite of innovate error reduction and performance improvement products, including Talsico's Process Picture Map Procedure Writing software, used by more than 1500 companies worldwide.
Her visit to Wodonga is part of the ‘Managing change, accelerating performance' workshop series being conducted by Wodonga Council, in conjunction with the combined Border Chambers of Commerce, the Murray Hume Business Enterprise Centre, and the Wodonga TAFE.
The series of workshops will be held from May 26 to June 2 and are aimed to assist small and medium-sized enterprises manage and strengthen their business.
Other workshops on offer including ‘Managing your cash flow', ‘Making your business more profitable', ‘Why do I need a business plan?' and ‘Managing people'.
The workshops are funded under the Enterprise Connect program and registration is essential as places are limited.
