New executive officer for Greenhouse Alliance

NIKKI Scott has joined North East Greenhouse Alliance (NEGHA) as the new executive officer.

Ms Scott will replace Michelle Wilkinson in the role for 12 months, who is currently on maternity leave.

She said her focus will be on increasing partnerships with industry and businesses in the North East region. 

“Federal and State governments are focusing on emissions trading and the alliance will have a role to play to help North East organisations obtain information and understand how they can plan for a ‘carbon economy’,” Ms Scott said.

Ms Scott comes from a communications and marketing background and the alliance members wish her well in the role.
