CARNIVALE WODONGA SPICE BUSKING OPPORTUNITY


CALLING ALL BUSKERS, MUSICIANS AND PERFORMERS!!

We are asking all young performers aged between 12 and 25 years to participate in Carnivale Wodonga Spice  market day. Wodonga Council's youth services department is providing a stage from 9.am until 2pm to create a vibrant atmosphere while the markets are on. 

We are asking local performers to take part, allowing them to get more exposure and experience.

What is Carnivale market day?

Wodonga Apex community market and High St traders will join in the Carnivale spirit and trade from Wodonga's CBD. Visitors can enjoy the hand-made local craft and original pieces as well as some of the region's finest produce and delectable food. Roving entertainment and children's activities will entertain the crowds throughout the market day. 

CARNIVALE WODONGA ‘SPICE'

Dates: Carnivale Wodonga Spice: Saturday, March 6,  2010

Carnivale market:  9am to 2pm

Carnivale festival: 5pm to 10pm

Carnivale Recovery:  Sunday, March 7 from 7pm to 10.30pm, Woodland Grove, Wodonga.

If you would like to participate, please fill out the attached application form and return to youth services staff at the council offices, 104 Hovell St, Wodonga no later than January 29, 2010.  Once we have filled all positions a letter of acceptance and copy of the running sheet will be posted to you.

Between 20,000 and 25,000 people are expected to take part in Wodonga Carnivale Spice activities.
