Todos Arte or Total Art (Spanish) carries the meaning of people within it: all art and art for everybody.
Todos Arte seeks to foster community connections, creative expression, celebration and gathering in Wodonga’s heart.
People are brought together from a broad cross section of the Wodonga community to learn skills, share stories and explore points of connection and difference; while engaging in the production of large 3D ephemeral sculptures, costumes, décor and music.
The arts workshops are facilitated by professional artists; as the art continues to grow so does the community’s enthusiasm and anticipation for Carnivale Wodonga Bizarre. The bizarre and quirky creative product is then launched at the festival.
Carnivale Wodonga:
Carnivale Wodonga started in 2006 with Jonkunuu Jamaican festival in conjunction with the Commonwealth Games.
In 2007, the festival took place again with Carnivale Wodonga HOT, while in 2008, the colourful and energetic experience of Carnivale Wodonga WILD delivered to an audience of 20,000 people.
In 2009 Wodonga’s annual Carnivale is going Bizarre!
Carnivale Wodonga Bizarre incorporates all things mysterious, quirky, unusual, weird, wacky, and outrageous.
Bound to bamboozle and delight you at every turn.
Lounging into Carnivale:
Lounging into Carnivale will take place on Friday, March 6 from 6pm until late, featuring live entertainment, food, wine, roving entertainment, children's activities, late night shopping, art about and a free bus service from 5pm.

Carnivale Market Day:
Carnivale will kick off at 9am with our market day. Shop till you drop as Wodonga Market, Wodonga APEX Community Market and CBD Traders will join in the Carnivale Spirit and trade from the street.
Carnivale Festival
Carnivale Wodonga Bizarre Festival will feature 2 wacky music stages, a performance stage showcasing all that is breathtaking and bizarre, exquisite wearable art, impromptu performances, interactive art workshops, stiltwalkers, fire and circus acts.

How Bizarre is an opportunity for local bands of different genres to display their creativity to the huge crowd at Carnivale Wodonga Bizarre. The local bands will be challenged to interpret the popular song 'How Bizarre' by Otara Millionares Club in their own particular style.
Bizarre Jam stage aims to showcase the exciting, quirky, and unexpected music that results when different musical forms meet. Bands throughout the night include: Dallas Frasca, Don't Mess with the pony, Rock Hard Foundation, Dadscrampy and Wangaratta Ukelele Showband.

STRANGE ON STANLEY, presented by Mars Petcare:
Stanley St will be host to food outlets, street performers and fire acts with an international Carnivale flavour. The Stanley St stage will feature international music with universal appeal including: Jugularity, Psycho Zydeco and JUST.
Interactive Activities, presented by Norske Skog:
Woodland Grove will be abuzz with interactive activities for the whole family to participate.
Interactive Art Activities: Wacky Dos, Odd Faces, Bizarra Tiaras, Quirky Creatures, Heads or Tails and Bizarre Bugs.

The Great Gondos ![]()
Odd Bods Stage, High St:
This year’s festival will see a performance stage added to the event activities showcasing high profile local, national and international performers, including Cirque Mystique, Russian Cossack Dancers, This Side Up, The Great Gondos, Elio Simonetti and Eva Magic Show, Per Westman, Figers of Fury Drumming and Regional Academy of Performing Arts.
Wearable Art Award:
View finely crafted artisitic garments and wearable artworks as they take centre stage at the City of Wodonga's 2009 Carnivale and Wearable Art Award. This unique and exciting fashion parade will showcase the best textile artist on the border. Be blown away by all the fine detail and artistic skill that goes into making these intriguing and Bizarre works.
Parades:

The Twins ![]()
Throughout Carnivale Wodonga we will be having three community parades where hundreds of people will be bopping and bogeying down High St lead by a band of bizarre pipers, giant bug puppets, stilt walkers and many more weird and zany surprises. Community members of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the colourful and outlandish parades where you can dress bizarrely and dance feverishly while playing bizarre musical instruments.

During the Carnivale look out for the Bizarre roaming entertainment from The Twins, Bellydancing, Magicians, The Gold People and Empress Stiltdance and many, many more!

Food:
Carnivale features a bizarre spread of flavours from throughout the world made from fresh local and regional produce. High St and Stanley St food traders will be open for businesses.
Road closures:
Stanley St will be closed to traffic from 3pm on Friday, March 6 and reopen on Sunday, March 8 at 2am.
High St (between Lawrence and Elgin streets) will be closed to traffic from 5am on Saturday, March 7 and reopen on Sunday, March 8 at 2am.
Parking:
- Council car park via Hovell St
- Oak car park, access via Hovell St
- Heath car park, access via Hume St or Lawrence St
- Hume car park, access via Hume St
- Acacia car park, access via Hume St or Elgin Boulevard.
Public transport:
The High St taxi rank will be relocated to outside the Wodonga Civic Centre on Hovell St.
The bus stop High St will be relocated to the Woodland Grove, Hovell St bus stop.
