The settlement assistance program can help you with your settlement needs.

We can help you:

  • Access health services
  • Understand the health system
  • Access education (enrol children in school, etc)
  • Deal with family issues and problems
  • By providing referrals to migration agents
  • Fill in forms
  • Access income support through Centrelink and other agencies
  • With banking and financial institutions
  • Get recognition of your overseas qualifications
  • Access legal advice and assistance
  • By providing emotional support, respect and understanding
  • With referrals to other services
  • Link with social groups and community activities
  • Access interpreting services
  • With general settlement information and much more

Our service is available to:

  • Refugees and humanitarian entrants
  • Recently arrived migrants
  • Dependent family members of skilled migrants
  • New and emerging communities
