Good Neighbour award

The Good Neighbour program encourages each of us to reach out and help others in our neighbourhood.

When we take the time to volunteer and help neighbours we strengthen local bonds, enrich community life, and contribute to a greater sense of security in our neighbourhood. Being a "good neighbour" is citizenship in action.

Good neighbours are often quiet achievers who don't look for any reward or recognition for themselves. Yet, they are valuable contributors to our neighbourhoods and to the safety and well being of our communities.

Nominate someone you know for the Good Neighbour award by completing the nomination form attached and returning to Wodonga Council in Hovell St, or by phoning the Neighbourhood Power co-ordinator on (02) 6022 9347 by October 30, 2009.
