Planning scheme amendments
| |
The strategic planning department at Wodonga Council manages the content of the Wodonga Planning Scheme.
The council can support a proposal to amend the planning scheme to achieve a desirable planning outcome or to support a new policy direction.
This process is called a planning scheme amendment.
Every planning scheme amendment is placed on public exhibition to allow the affected parties and the public to view the amendment and make submissions to either support or object to the amendment. Amendments are generally placed on public exhibition for one month.
Notice of when an amendment is on exhibition appears in The Border Mail, generally on a Wednesday or Saturday. Anyone can view the amendment when on exhibition at the Wodonga Council Offices at 104 Hovell St, Wodonga during business hours.
Submissions to an amendment must be made in writing addressed to the City of Wodonga, PO Box 923, Wodonga, VIC, 3689, and received by the last day of exhibition. Before making a submission, or if you have any further enquiries, please contact the council's strategic planning department on (02) 6022 9300 to discuss.
