Planning register

A planning register is required to be maintained by Wodonga Council under the Planning and Environment Act 1987. The register is a list summarising the planning applications lodged with the council and the outcome of the application.
The planning register is available to view free of charge on business days between 8.30am and 5pm at the reception of Wodonga Council offices in Hovell St, Wodonga.
While the planning register is available to any person to view, it may amount to an interference with the privacy of an individual for a person to access the Register to do an act or engage in a practice that would contravene an Information Privacy Principle under the Information Privacy Act 2000 with respect to the personal information on the Register, including but not limited to, accessing the planning register in order to identify and market products or services.
A condition of use of the planning register is that you will not use the personal information in any manner that may amount to an interference with the privacy of an individual generally or to facilitiate direct marketing to a property where an entry for that property does not show consent to receive direct marketing at that address specifically.
To maintain the privacy of planning permit applicants, the council has determined that it will no longer make available to any person copies of the planning register via email, fax or photocopy.
