Operational services/Parks and gardens

Wodonga Council has an operational services arm, which was formerly known as OSTEK.

The operational services, and parks and gardens teams are based at the depot in Kendall St.

The residents of Wodonga place a high level of importance on its parks and open spaces.

The parks and gardens' team has more than 25 employees that are responsible for the maintenance and presentation of the city's parks and gardens, and open spaces (approximately 400 hectares).

Maintenace tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • High profile areas 
  • Parks and reserves
  • Sportsgrounds
  • Trees
  • Streetscapes/avenues
  • Rural roadsides
  • Playgrounds
  • Storm events
