Pests and insects

Wodonga Council staff are often called upon to resolve requests regarding pests and insects.

These include:

  • European wasps
  • Bees
  • Ants/ termites
  • Mosquitoes

Please phone (02) 6022 9300 to speak to a customer service officer to report pests and insects on council land.

If the pests or insects are on private property it is the owners/occupiers responsibility to remove or eradicate the pest or insects.

The services of a private pest controller may be sought to assist in the removal of these species, the contact information below may assist:

As for swooping magpies and snakes, theses are protected species and removal is not dealt through Wodonga Council.
