Below is 26 ways that the Wodonga Library supports literacy in Wodonga and the surrounding community.

1. 50 great Australian picture books to share with children: Pick up your copy today.

2. Books to borrow: From fiction to non-fiction, picture books to textbooks.

3. A great range of magazines: Dirt bikes, craft, current events, cooking and computers.

4. Newspapers: The daily local and national newspapers, available to read in the library.

5. November Is Newsvember: An annual program to encourage and improve newspaper literacy.

6. Let's Read book packs: for babies and toddlers, distributed by maternal and child health nurses.

7. Story Time Anytime project: Promoting reading with children for 10 minutes a day.

8. Story Time for babies, toddlers and preschoolers: Every week (during school terms).

9. Mrs Mac's Story Time on YouTube: Available to watch at home – a new book every Tuesday at youtube.com/user/wodongacouncil

10.   Introduction to the library and the importance of reading: For new mothers groups run by maternal and child health.

11.   Bilingual picture books: In a number of languages (Swahili, Arabic, Hindi, Nepali, Bhutanese) available to borrow.

12.   Young writers' group: Encouraging young people with an interest in writing and publishing.

13.   Manga and Anime group: A fun social group for young people.

14.   Basic computer classes: For increasing computer literacy.

15.   Computer club: For migrants and refugees.

16.   Learning English as an additional language resource: Including resources for preparing for the International English Language Testing System.

17.   Books in languages other than English: Via the NSW State Library.

18.   Story Time in the park: Four large-scale events each year.

19.   Library activities: At City of Wodonga Children's Fair.

20.   Talking books/playaways: For those who need or prefer to listen to their books. 

21.   Book clubs: To get people talking about books.

22.   Home borrowing service: For those unable to attend the library, delivered with the help of local Lions clubs.

23.   School holiday activities: For primary school students based around books and reading.
