Executive team
Gavin Cator, Chief Executive Officer. To provide visionary and creative leadership, direction and total commitment to the City of Wodonga in the provision of a range of relevant community valued services, which demonstrate best practice service delivery standards. Gavin is accountable to the mayor and council for council relationships, strategic planning, service provision, external relationships, leadership, finance and asset management, personal competencies and risk management.

Michael Gobel, Director Investment Attraction. Michael is responsible for attracting business and investment to the city of Wodonga, with a focus on the revitalisation of the CBD and divestment of the council's surplus assets. He reports directly to the CEO.

Patience Harrington, Director Community Development. Patience is responsible for community planning, service planning, risk and community safety, early years, events and cultural services, the High St revitalisation project, aged services, skilled migration, recreation and youth services and primary care partnerships. She reports directly to the CEO.

Trevor Ierino, Director Business Services. Trevor is responsible for the areas of finance, asset planning, information services, organisational development, plant fleet and buildings maintenance, customer and competitive services, governance, communications and marketing. He reports directly to the CEO.

Johan Louw, Director Sustainable Development. Johan is responsible for strategic planning, statutory planning, business development, building services, parks, health and civic services, along with the Greenhouse Alliance, of which Wodonga Council is a part and hosts. Johan is also responsible for the areas of infrastructure design and delivery and roads construction and maintenance. He reports directly to the CEO.
