The City of Wodonga now has seven councillors, who work in a style that reflects a board of directors structure.
On November 26, 2005, five new councillors were elected and two existing councillors were re-elected.

Executive team
- Gavin Cator, Chief Executive Officer. To provide visionary and creative leadership, direction and total commitment to the City of Wodonga in the provision of a range of relevant community valued services, which demonstrate best practice service delivery standards. Gavin is accountable to the mayor and council for council relationships, strategic planning, service provision, external relationships, leadership, finance and asset management, personal competencies and risk management.

mgobel@wodonga.vic.gov.au - Patience Harrington, Director Community Development. Patience is responsible for community planning, service planning, risk and community safety, health and civic services, early years, aged services, recreation and youth services and primary care partnerships.
pharrington@wodonga.vic.gov.au - Ray Henderson, Director City Infrastructure. Ray is responsible for the areas of infrastructure design and delivery, assets and OSTEK operations.
