Eagle Award

CITY OF WODONGA EAGLE AWARD

for people who soar high and spread their wings

THE AWARD

The Wodonga Eagle Award program is an initiative of Wodonga Council.  The award recognises people within the community who are making someone's life better, getting involved in the community and helping others.

The award will identify people in our community who are making a difference, the quiet achievers who put others before themselves.

A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to others.  They do not set out to become a leader, but become one by the qualities of their actions and the integrity of their intent.  In the end, leaders are much like eagles - they don't flock together, you find them one at a time.

JUDGING

Mayor and councillors will judge the nominations.

NOMINATIONS

Community members can submit nominations for the monthly award.  The achievements need to be ‘now' achievements rather than historic. For a nomination form, please contact the customer service team on (02) 6022 9300 or at 104 Hovell St, Wodonga or see the form below.
