Local Food Network

The Local Food Network is a platform to share information, resources and improve partnerships to strengthen and sustain thriving local food systems in North East Victoria, NSW Riverina and surrounds.

The Local Food Network recognises that a thriving local food systems benefits producers, the local economy and improves access to healthy foods for all community groups.

The Local Food Network is open to all organisations and individuals who have an involvement or interest in the local food economy and food security throughout the region.

Sectors which are represented are as following, but are not limited to:

  • Community services
  • Education
  • General community
  • Health services
  • Landcare
  • Local government
  • Local producers
  • Neighbourhood houses
  • Welfare services

The network meets bi-monthly at Gateway Health. New members are welcome.

Meeting dates for 2016

Meetings are held from 11am to 1pm at Gateway Health, 155 High St, Wodonga. Dates are as follows.

  • Thursday, February 25;
  • Thursday, April 28;
  • Thursday, June 30;
  • Thursday, August 25; and,
  • Thursday, October 27.
