Todos Arte Workshops

Todos Arte or Total Art (Spanish) is a two-week arts festival that seeks to foster community connections, creative expression, celebration and gathering in the heart of Wodonga

People are brought together from a broad cross section of the community to learn skills, share stories and explore the points of connection and difference; whilst engaging in the production of large 3D sculptures, visual decor, costimes and funky percussion rhythms.

The arts workshops are facilitated by professional artists; as the art continues to grow so does the community's enthusiasm and anticipation for Carnivale Wodonga Spice. The Spicy creative product is then launched at the festival.

Carnivale Wodonga:

Carnivale Wodonga began in 2006 with Jonkunuu Jamaican Festival in conjunction with the Commonwealth Games.

In 2007, Carnivale Wodonga was HOT and in 2008 Carnivale Wodonga went WILD. In 2009 Carnivale Wodonga embraced all things BIZARRE, delivering a spectacular event to an audience of between 20,000 and 24,000.

In 2010 Carnivale Wodonga is going to SPICE it up!

Carnivale Wodonga SPICE will incorporate all things with a zest and a tang; all that is fiery and fierce; featuring flavours from around the world - everything from Salsa to Samba, to Bollywood and Brazillian.

Carnivale Wodonga SPICE will be a feast for the senses.

Lounging into Carnivale:

Lounging into Carnivale will be an exciting prelude to the big event. The event will provide a diverse taste of what to expect at Carnivale including live music by Multicultural Arts Victoria supported Mandinka Sound, a collaboration of two extraordinary West African acts with energetic dancers to get the crowd into the Carnivale mood, plus roving performers, kids art activities and delicious local cuisine and wines.
