Wodonga’s growing economy is reflected by the continuous strong performances in building approvals.
In 2003, building approvals were in excess of $101 million. In 2004, Wodonga’s building approvals rose significantly to more than $143 million.
Strong levels of development continued in 2004 and 2005 due to several major projects being undertaken in Wodonga. Building approvals in 2007 again rose above the $100 million mark with approvals for the 2008 also strong.
