Seeking those who served for Wodonga’s honour roll

Honour roll at the library

Do you know a current or former Wodonga community member who has served in the Australian Defence Force overseas?

Wodonga Council has secured funding under the Commonwealth Government’s Saluting Their Service Commemorations Program to update the honour roll of local citizens that have served their nation on overseas operations, including peacekeeping.

The honour rolls are located in the Wodonga RSL Sub Branch and outside the Wodonga Library.

Anyone who was born, went to school or joined the Australian Defence Force from Wodonga, and has been deployed to serve in any theatre of war or conflict, is eligible to be placed on the honour roll.

The RSL are also seeking applications for corrections to the current honour roll.

Applications are now open and close on Friday, November 17, 2017.

For further information, please contact Wodonga RSL Secretary Jenny Bolt on (02) 6024 2023 or email wodongarsl@tpg.com.au
